Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about the product and billing.
What types of properties do you service?
We focus on high-value, high-complexity properties — including HOAs, estates, retail, commercial developments, multi-family sites, and municipal landscapes. Our clients are property managers, general contractors, estate managers, developers, and municipalities who need a reliable, contract-ready landscape partner.
What services do you offer?
We offer recurring landscape maintenance, irrigation system audits and repairs, water management, and full-scope landscape installation. Some clients bring us in for ongoing care. Others rely on us to bid and build from plans. Whether you're maintaining existing grounds or mobilizing a project, we’re ready to go.
Do you use sustainable equipment or best practices?
Yes — and not just for optics. Our crews use electric equipment from Kress, follow regenerative pruning methods, implement integrated pest management (IPM), and specify recycled and sustainable materials whenever possible. It’s built into our SOPs because it protects the long-term performance of your site.
Can you help with complex outdoor installs or design-driven projects?
We’re not a design-first firm — but we know how to bring vision to life. If your project calls for light design or conceptual direction, we can support early-stage planning and build it into a turnkey proposal. That way, your budget is respected, and your vision stays intact — from sketch to punch list.
Which areas do you serve?
We operate throughout the greater Bay Area — including Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Alameda, and Contra Costa counties. If your site falls within that footprint, we’re likely already working nearby.
How do you price maintenance or installation work?
We price maintenance on a monthly contract model tailored to site size, service level, and expectations. For installs, you’ll receive a detailed, scope-specific bid with line-item clarity and realistic build timelines. If you’re still in pre-con, we can help tighten the budget with smart value engineering solutions.
What kind of service standards can I expect?
Consistent crews, clear reports, and fast response times. We operate with predictable site schedules, routine QA checks, and weekly field communication to keep you informed — not chasing down answers. If there’s a problem, you’ll know it’s already being handled.
What sets you apart from other landscape companies?
Clients tell us it’s the combination of field discipline, communication, and consistency. We understand the pressure that comes with managing high-profile properties or multi-phase jobs — and we meet that with predictable results and accountability. We value engineer when needed, warranty our work, and take care of the details others often miss.
Can you take over an existing landscape maintenance contract mid-year?
Yes. If you're ready to upgrade performance mid-cycle, we’ll walk the site, review the current SOW, and transition with minimal disruption. Whether it’s underperforming crews, unresolved issues, or just time for a change — we’re built to step in and stabilize fast.
Do you handle multi-phase landscaping projects?
Yes — we work with general contractors and builders to deliver landscape scopes across phased developments, including site prep, install, irrigation, and closeout. If your phasing is driven by occupancy, funding, or site logistics, we’ve been there. We’ll adapt accordingly.
Can you help value engineer my landscape plans before I go out to bid?
Absolutely. If you're in pre-construction or tightening a GMP, we can review your landscape package and offer VE solutions that hold design intent while reducing cost and risk. This is where our field experience really shows up.
Do you offer storm cleanup or emergency response services?
Yes — especially for our recurring maintenance clients. High winds, fallen limbs, or irrigation damage? We’ll prioritize your site and respond quickly to stabilize the property and mitigate further damage.
How do you ensure crew consistency and professionalism?
Our crews are trained weekly and led by experienced foremen who understand site-specific expectations. We invest in retention, training, and jobsite standards to ensure the same faces — and the same results — show up consistently.
How do you approach seasonal transitions and plant health care?
We build seasonal adjustments into our service plans — from irrigation programming to fertilizer blends and pruning strategy. Your plant material is a long-term investment. We maintain it like one — adjusting with the season, not reacting after damage.
Can you help reduce water bills on my property?
In most cases, yes. Between controller upgrades, valve audits, and strategic zone redesign, we’ve helped HOAs and commercial properties save thousands per year — without compromising appearance or health. It starts with a walkthrough and usage review.
